Senior Accountant (Filipino Nationals Preferred)


We are a growing accounting firm based in Mauren and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. This position is open to Filipino nationals who are fluent in English and have at least 5 years of experience in accounting.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department. You will be expected to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You must also have excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with clients and colleagues from different backgrounds.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filing deadlines
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff
- Provide support during external audits

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
