Software Tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic team in Porto. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with developers and other team members. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in software testing, as well as knowledge of testing methodologies and tools. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates, making this an opportunity for both local and international candidates. Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Porto, Portugal

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of software products to identify any issues or bugs
- Develop test plans and test cases based on project requirements
- Execute manual and automated tests to validate system functionality
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify root causes of issues
- Document test results and provide detailed reports on any defects found
- Participate in product design meetings to provide input on potential quality issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools
- Continuously improve testing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing/quality assurance role
- Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques
- Familiarity with various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, etc.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality products
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar is a plus
