Librarian

Position: Librarian
Location: Ajman, UAE

We are hiring a Librarian to join our team at our library in Ajman. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library collection by cataloging, shelving, and organizing books and other materials.
- Assist library patrons with finding resources and provide information services.
- Develop and implement library programs, activities, and events to promote reading and learning.
- Maintain library records, including circulation statistics, book inventory, and patron information.
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop a diverse collection of materials for all ages.
- Keep up-to-date with new technology and trends in the library field.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Preferably Nepali or Kenyan nationalities.
- Experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$. No previous experience is necessary, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the library field.
