Instrument Technician

Our company in Nizwa is seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments and control systems according to specifications
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faulty instruments and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments and control systems
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and calibration
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient functioning of all instruments

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician
- Knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, etc.
- Familiarity with control systems including PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to work in various industrial settings

Preferred:
- Nationality preference: Open (non-Nizwa residents are welcome)
- Location preference: Nizwa or surrounding areas
