Head Chef - Fine Dining


As the Head Chef of our fine dining restaurant in Vilnius, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests. You will lead a team of talented chefs and work closely with management to create innovative menus and maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety. Your attention to detail, creativity, and passion for food will be essential in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Develop and implement menu changes based on seasonal availability and customer feedback
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, and sanitation practices
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient operation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area at all times
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu pricing
- Foster a positive working environment by providing guidance, support, and recognition to team members

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Creativity in developing new dishes while also maintaining classic favorites
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with management, staff, and suppliers

Qualifications:
- Certificate or degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Fluent English language skills
- Knowledge of Lithuanian cuisine is an asset
Salary: $1000 per month
