Part-Time Concrete Worker

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Worker to join our team on a part-time basis in Porto, Portugal. Our company specializes in construction and renovation projects and we are looking for someone who has experience working with concrete and is able to work flexible hours.

As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for preparing and pouring concrete, as well as finishing and repairing concrete structures. You will also be required to operate various tools and equipment, follow safety procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work area.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with concrete, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You must also be physically fit, as this job may require heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for pouring concrete by cleaning, leveling, and setting up forms
- Mix concrete according to specifications
- Pour concrete into forms or onto surfaces using various methods such as wheelbarrows or pumps
- Smooth out concrete using trowels or other hand tools
- Repair damaged areas of existing structures by filling cracks or holes with appropriate materials
- Operate equipment such as power saws or drills to cut materials or create openings in structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment after each use
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in construction is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with concrete in a construction setting
- Ability to read blueprints is an asset but not required
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed
