Contract Quality Assurance Tester (Oslo)


A dynamic software company in Oslo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Tester to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our software products through thorough testing and identifying any bugs or issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of software products to identify any bugs, defects or inconsistencies
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to resolve any issues found during testing
- Document and report all findings and defects in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously monitor and improve testing processes for optimal efficiency

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases that may impact product functionality
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferences:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla
