Our library is seeking a Library Assistant to join our team in Moscow. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for books and providing excellent customer service. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the library, including circulation, reference services, and shelving materials. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in the field of librarianship.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with circulation tasks such as checking in and out materials, issuing library cards, and maintaining accurate records
- Provide reference services to patrons by answering questions, assisting with research, and helping locate materials
- Shelve materials in accordance with established systems and maintain the organization of library collections
- Assist with collection management by processing new acquisitions and removing outdated materials
- Assist with programming and outreach efforts by promoting library events and assisting with set-up as needed
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for patrons by performing general maintenance tasks such as dusting shelves and organizing displays

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (Russian language skills are preferred but not required)
- Indian nationality preferred (open to other nationalities)
- No previous experience required (training will be provided)
- Must have own visa or be willing to obtain one
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
