Librarian

A reputable library in Moscow is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature and a strong understanding of library systems and services. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the library, including cataloging, collection development, and providing reference services to patrons. Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the library, including cataloging, circulation, and shelving
- Develop and maintain collections by selecting materials that meet the needs of our diverse patron base
- Provide reference services to patrons by assisting with research inquiries and locating resources
- Plan and implement library programs and events to engage the community
- Train and supervise staff members in library procedures and policies
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, circulation statistics, and patron feedback
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to improve library services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong understanding of library systems and services
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in using technology for research purposes
- Knowledge of cataloging principles and ability to perform basic cataloging tasks
- Experience with collection development preferred
Salary:
Salary for this position is $900 per month.

This position is located in Moscow, Russia. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
