Data-Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data-Analytics Specialist to join our team in Bergen, Norway. In this contract role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and recommendations to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Your main goal will be to help our clients make informed decisions based on data-driven analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex data sets using various statistical techniques.
- Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and visualizations to effectively communicate insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate data quality to ensure accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in data analytics or related field.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, R or other statistical programming languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience working with biometric passport data or other sensitive information.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive analytics.

Salary: $1500 per month (based on experience)
