Data Analytics Specialist

As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends, and provide valuable insights to drive business decisions. You will work closely with various teams to understand their data needs and develop solutions to collect, clean, and analyze data. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing large sets of data from various sources
- Developing tools and techniques for data cleaning and preprocessing
- Applying statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from data
- Presenting findings in an easy-to-understand format using visualizations and reports
- Collaborating with team members to understand their data needs and provide timely solutions
- Identifying areas for improvement in data collection processes and implementing changes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in data analytics or a similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a simple manner
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Location: Bergen, Norway (visa sponsorship available)
Salary: $1300/month (Contract position)
