Surveyor
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for measuring and mapping land areas for various construction projects. Your main duties will include conducting surveys, analyzing data, and producing accurate reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various tools and techniques such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanners
- Analyze survey data to determine precise measurements of land features
- Prepare detailed reports and maps using specialized software
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate measurements for project planning and design
- Perform quality control checks on survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to land surveying
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surveyor in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other surveying software
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
