Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction or mining projects. You will work with a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the excavator while adhering to project specifications and deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator in a safe and efficient manner according to project specifications
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment before use
- Operate controls to manipulate excavator arm, bucket, and boom for digging and dumping materials
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure proper operation of equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Follow all health and safety regulations on site
- Keep accurate records of materials moved and hours worked

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in construction or mining industry
- Valid certification in operating heavy equipment
- Knowledge of excavation techniques, safety protocols, and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read blueprints or other project plans is an asset
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Eldoret, Kenya (Indian nationals preferred)
