Instrument Technician (English Speaking) - Khasab, Oman



We are a leading international company in the oil and gas industry seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in the oil and gas production process.

Responsibilities:
- Install and calibrate instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and level indicators
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments to ensure smooth operation of production equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to prevent breakdowns and ensure accuracy
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics for proper installation and maintenance
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify solutions for instrument-related issues
- Maintain accurate records of all instrument installations, repairs, calibrations, and maintenance activities

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Diploma or certification in instrumentation technology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of various types of instruments used in oil and gas production processes
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Valid work permit for Oman (if not already residing in Oman)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
