Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Muharraq. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities of the company, including maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings
- Monitor cash flow and maintain cash management processes
- Review and analyze budget variances
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Provide guidance to junior accounting staff
- Collaborate with external auditors as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks)
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to finance and accounting
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
1700$ per month
