Indian Chef in Abu-Dhabi


A luxury hotel in Abu-Dhabi is seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for creating authentic Indian dishes and be able to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, high-end environment. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking traditional Indian cuisine, while also collaborating with other chefs to create unique and innovative dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes using authentic techniques and ingredients
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders when necessary
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to the established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
- Train and develop junior chefs on proper cooking techniques and recipe execution
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menus and specials that incorporate Indian flavors
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen
- Keep up-to-date with current food trends and incorporate them into menu development

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, including regional variations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior chefs
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month, along with benefits such as accommodation, transportation, meals on duty, medical insurance, and annual leave.
