DevOps Developer

As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for the development and deployment of software applications. This role requires a strong understanding of both software development and IT operations, as well as experience with automation tools and cloud computing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth delivery of quality software products. This is a contract position with an urgent need, so we are looking for candidates who can start immediately.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain tools and infrastructure for software development and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of software products
- Automate processes to improve efficiency
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure security and compliance in all aspects of the development process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to DevOps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development processes and tools (such as Git, Jenkins)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of automation tools (Chef, Puppet)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)

Salary:
This is a contract position paying 1600$ per month.

Location:
This job is based in Wiltz, Luxembourg.
