As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. This role requires a strong understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques, as well as the ability to interpret and communicate findings to various stakeholders. You will be working closely with our team of data scientists and business analysts to develop predictive models and provide insights that will drive business decisions. This is a contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize various data mining techniques to extract insights from large datasets
- Analyze data using statistical methods and tools such as SQL, R, Python, or SAS
- Develop predictive models to identify patterns and trends in data
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand project objectives and requirements
- Ensure accuracy of data through rigorous testing and validation processes
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data mining

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
- Proven experience in data mining or statistical analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages commonly used for data analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines

Salary:
This is a contract position paying $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Wiltz, Luxembourg.
