Gardener Supervisor


Gardener Supervisor is a full-time position based in Os, Norway. We are looking for an experienced and skilled individual to oversee and manage a team of gardeners at our prestigious residential property. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and horticulture, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of gardeners, including hiring, training, and providing guidance and feedback
- Create and implement schedules for gardening tasks, ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain the overall appearance of the property's gardens, including planting flowers, trimming bushes, and maintaining lawns
- Monitor plants for pests and diseases, taking necessary measures to treat or remove affected plants
- Oversee the use of gardening equipment and tools, ensuring they are properly maintained and stored
- Coordinate with other departments to plan events or projects that may require additional gardening services
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a gardener or in a supervisory role in gardening/horticulture
- Strong knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and their care requirements
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English (Norwegian proficiency is an advantage)
- Valid driver's license

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
