We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting various mechanical parts and components according to specifications and blueprints. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine assembly requirements
- Measure and mark materials for cutting or shaping
- Operate hand and power tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and welders
- Fabricate, assemble, fit, and repair metal parts using welding techniques
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fitter or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical strength
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
