Instrument Technician
Location: Sharjah, Canada
We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Sharjah, Canada. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and calibrating equipment to ensure accuracy.
Your main duties will include inspecting and testing instruments and control systems to identify any defects or malfunctions, repairing or replacing faulty components, and ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of work performed and documenting any changes or modifications made to instruments.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience as an Instrument Technician or a related field, with a strong understanding of electrical wiring and circuitry. You should also be familiar with a variety of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, and analyzers.
Excellent problem-solving skills are essential for this role as you will often need to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner. Additionally, attention to detail is crucial as precision is required when calibrating equipment.
This position may require working in confined spaces or at heights, so physical fitness and the ability to work safely in these environments is important. As an Instrument Technician, you must also be willing to work flexible hours and be available for on-call duties when necessary.
