Experienced Mason in Funchal, Portugal


We are seeking an experienced Mason to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing structures made of brick, stone or concrete. Your duties will include mixing and applying mortar, cutting and shaping stone or brick, and reading blueprints to determine the layout of structures.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mason
- Knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Mix mortar and apply it to building surfaces using a trowel
- Lay bricks or stones according to blueprints or drawings
- Cut or shape bricks using tools such as hammers, chisels or saws
- Repair or replace damaged bricks or concrete blocks
- Clean excess mortar from surfaces using hand tools
- Read blueprints to determine the layout of structures
- Inspect existing structures for damage or defects and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Salary: $900 per month (without accommodation)
