Computer Systems Analyst


We are in search of an experienced Computer Systems Analyst to join our growing team in Lisbon. As a Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating computer systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. This is a contract position without accommodation, suitable for both men and women. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation
- Test new systems or system upgrades to ensure functionality and compatibility with existing systems
- Troubleshoot issues with computer systems or software applications
- Document system procedures and train end-users on new systems or processes
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong understanding of computer systems, software applications, databases, etc.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python
- Experience with system testing and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and analytically
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working on large-scale projects or in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
