Information Technology Manager vacancy in Porto Portugal

IT Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our dynamic team in Porto. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month, and includes accommodation, free visa, and ticket.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all hardware and software systems, including servers, networks, databases, and security systems
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and efficient system operation
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of new hardware and software systems
- Manage IT staff members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for their implementation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in an IT management role
- Strong knowledge of network administration, database management, and security protocols
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team
- Proven experience in project management
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:
- Experience working with cloud computing platforms
- Knowledge of coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience working in a contract position
