Instrument Technician
An experienced and skilled Instrument Technician is needed to join our team in Os, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments and equipment used in the oil and gas industry. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and meeting safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, thermometers, and level sensors
- Troubleshoot any issues with instruments and equipment
- Perform calibration checks to ensure accuracy of readings
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete tasks efficiently
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role in the oil and gas industry
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Technology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of various types of instruments used in the industry
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Os, Norway (applicants must be willing to relocate)
