Location: Horsens, Denmark



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while ensuring they meet safety and building code standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine their condition and necessary preservation measures
- Develop and implement preservation plans that adhere to safety and building code regulations
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of preservation projects
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Source appropriate materials for restoration work while considering budget constraints
- Supervise construction work to ensure it meets the project requirements and quality standards
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on current preservation techniques, materials, and regulations in order to provide the best possible service to clients

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in historic preservation or conservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and historic preservation techniques
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are a plus)
