Turner Technician in Dubrovnik, Croatia



We are seeking a highly skilled Turner Technician to join our team in Dubrovnik, Croatia. As a Turner Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines used for turning and shaping metal parts. You will also be involved in the production of various tools, parts, and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set-up and operate various turning machines including lathes, milling machines, and drill presses.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of finished parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their proper functioning.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
- Work with a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, titanium, and copper.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in using turning machinery and precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Biometric passport or eligibility to obtain one is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with CNC machinery is a plus.
