We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Moderator to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing online communities, forums, and social media platforms to ensure a positive and engaging experience for all users. Your responsibilities will include reviewing user-generated content, enforcing community guidelines, responding to user inquiries and concerns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve user experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for creating a safe and inclusive online environment. This is a part-time role with the potential for visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor online communities, forums, and social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines
- Review user-generated content for quality and appropriateness
- Respond promptly to user inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content creators, community managers, and customer support representatives
- Identify areas for improvement in user experience and provide suggestions for solutions
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to online community management
- Assist in developing and implementing community policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Proven experience as a moderator or similar role managing online communities or social media platforms
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with users from diverse backgrounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using moderation tools and social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Familiarity with current trends in online community management
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed

Nice-to-have:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
- Experience moderating international or multilingual communities
- Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles

Salary:
- Starting salary of $1600 per month
- Potential for visa sponsorship for qualified candidates
