Preservation Architect - Moscow



We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Moscow. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, while also ensuring they meet modern safety and accessibility standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on the history and construction of historical buildings and structures
- Assessing the condition of historical buildings and identifying areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Creating preservation plans and designs that adhere to the original architectural style
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of preserved buildings
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for preservation projects
- Supervising the construction process to ensure compliance with preservation plans
- Using traditional building techniques and materials when possible to maintain authenticity
- Incorporating modern technologies, such as seismic reinforcement, into preservation projects as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history, styles, and construction techniques
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Excellent drawing and design skills using CAD software
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Salary: 900$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position with no accommodation provided. However, we can assist with finding suitable housing options for non-local candidates.
