Smelter Operator - Split, Croatia



We are hiring a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Split, Croatia. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to process raw materials into various metal products. Your duties will include monitoring temperature and pressure levels, adjusting controls, and troubleshooting any equipment malfunctions. You must have experience in a smelting or metallurgy environment and possess strong technical skills. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. We welcome applications from English-speaking candidates with valid work permits in Croatia.

Salary: 1000$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Monitor temperature and pressure levels, make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment malfunctions or issues
- Conduct regular maintenance on smelting equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Record production data accurately and report any discrepancies
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any concerns or issues to management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a smelting or metallurgy environment
- Strong technical skills with the ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to record accurate data
- Valid work permit for Croatia (for non-Croatian nationals)
