Excavator Operator


We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Los Angeles. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to dig trenches, foundations, or holes as per project specifications
- Load and unload materials using excavator attachments such as buckets and grapples
- Ensure safe operation of equipment and comply with all safety regulations
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work tasks
- Follow blueprints or instructions to determine the location and depth of excavations
- Use hand tools or other equipment when necessary to complete tasks

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or other construction plans
- Strong understanding of excavation techniques, safety regulations, and equipment maintenance
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per week.

City:
This position is located in Los Angeles.

Preference:
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience operating excavators in a construction setting. However, we welcome all qualified applicants regardless of nationality or location.

Contract:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.
