Database Administrator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Faisalabad. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, security, and performance of our company's databases. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain databases in accordance with company's needs
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval
- Ensure data security and perform regular backups
- Troubleshoot any database issues that may arise
- Develop and implement data management policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT team to integrate new systems with existing databases
- Train end users on database functionality and usage

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with database design, backup, recovery, security, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of SQL programming language
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail

Preferred:
- Experience working with cloud-based databases
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Certification in Database Administration
