Residential Painter


We are seeking a skilled Residential Painter to join our team in Funchal. As a painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces of residential properties. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided.

Key responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding as needed
- Choose appropriate paints or stains based on surface type and desired finish
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools
- Ensure proper coverage and smooth application of paint
- Use masking tape and drop cloths to protect surrounding areas from paint splatter
- Repair any cracks or damages on walls before painting
- Clean and maintain painting equipment after use

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter in residential settings
- Good understanding of different painting techniques and materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and work on ladders or scaffolds when needed
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency preferred)
- Preference for female candidates

Salary: 1100$ per month
