Pastry Chef - Esbjerg, Denmark


We are in search of a talented Pastry Chef to join our team in Esbjerg, Denmark. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually stunning pastries, as well as experience in a professional kitchen. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and decorating various desserts and pastries for our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, including cakes, tarts, pies, and cookies
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, and icing
- Create new dessert items to add to our menu based on seasonal ingredients
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of all pastry products
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff members
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate dessert orders with main courses

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen
- Culinary degree or equivalent training in pastry arts preferred
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and creative flair for presentation
- Strong leadership skills and ability to train junior staff members
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are an advantage)

Salary:
