QA Engineer

We are currently hiring a QA Engineer to join our growing team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and working closely with developers to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a software development environment is required.

Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans based on project requirements
- Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking systems
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing
- Communicate test results and progress to project stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high quality code is being delivered

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in QA testing for software development projects
- Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Strong understanding of software development processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team

Preferred:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience with Selenium or other automation tools
