QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Los Angeles. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and debugging. This is a contract position suitable for Indian nationals with their own visa who are looking for an English-speaking role in the fast-paced tech industry.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality
- Identify, record, and track bugs to resolution using bug tracking systems
- Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after changes or updates
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues
- Perform automated testing using tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and techniques for software testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g. JIRA) and version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1700 per month
