Head Pastry Chef


We are a luxury hotel in Dubai, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department, from creating new and innovative dessert menus to managing a team of pastry chefs. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional creativity, and a passion for delivering high-quality desserts.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new and creative dessert menus that align with our hotel's brand and vision
- Train and manage a team of pastry chefs, ensuring they deliver quality desserts that meet our standards
- Oversee ordering and inventory management for the pastry department
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of desserts for events, banquets, and restaurants
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen at all times
- Enforce food safety standards and protocols in the pastry department
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our dessert offerings

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment
- Proven track record of creating unique and delicious desserts that receive positive feedback from guests
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment used in baking/pastry making
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in Hindi is preferred
- Must be willing to relocate to Dubai

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month plus benefits such as accommodations, meals on duty, medical insurance, annual flight tickets home (for non-residents), and visa sponsorship.
