Android Developer

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Acre, Israel. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. As an Android Developer, you should have a strong understanding of Java and the Android SDK, as well as experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. You will work closely with our design and product teams to create user-friendly and engaging mobile experiences. This is a contract job with a salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, maintainable code that is well-documented and follows industry best practices
- Troubleshoot issues and fix bugs in existing applications
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Work with external data sources and APIs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Android development
- Strong understanding of Java programming language
- Experience working with the Android SDK and third-party libraries
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in mobile development
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills

Preferred:
- Experience developing mobile applications for multiple platforms (iOS, Windows)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
- Previous experience working on e-commerce or social media apps
