Library Assistant

We are hiring a Library Assistant to join our team in Hawalli, Kuwait. This is a contract position suitable for men with no English language requirement. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a library setting, but it is not required. The selected candidate will receive a salary of 1300$ and accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with cataloguing and organizing library materials
- Help patrons locate resources and answer reference questions
- Check in and out books, manage library accounts and collect fines
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the library space
- Assist with library events and programs

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in Library Science preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of library systems and technology is a plus
