Facade Engineer - Contract Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team in the city of Os, Norway on a contract basis. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of building facades.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop building facade systems that meet project requirements and comply with local building codes
- Conduct structural analysis using specialized software to ensure the safety and stability of facade systems
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design specifications are met
- Oversee the installation and construction of facade systems to ensure quality and adherence to design plans
- Review shop drawings and material submittals from suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance with design plans
- Perform site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns that may arise during construction

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in facade engineering or related role
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis software such as ETABS or SAP2000
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to facades
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
