Part-Time Database Administrator for Small Business in Porto


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time Database Administrator to join our small business located in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure efficient and secure data storage. This is a part-time position, with the potential for more hours as our business grows.

As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our databases. This includes creating new databases, configuring and maintaining database servers, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for data backup and recovery procedures to ensure the safety of our company's information.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a Database Administrator and be familiar with database management systems such as MySQL or Oracle. Knowledge of SQL programming is also required. Additionally, strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. As a part-time position, we require someone who can manage their time effectively and prioritize tasks accordingly.

This position does not include accommodation, so we prefer candidates who already reside in Porto or have the ability to commute easily.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Database Administrator
- Proficiency in database management systems (MySQL or Oracle)

Salary:
