Job Title: Fitter Technician - Contract Position (Porto)



As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the quality and accuracy of the final product. This is a contract position with a leading manufacturing company in Porto.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Assemble mechanical components using various hand tools
- Install mechanical systems in accordance with design requirements
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during assembly or installation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a fitter or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit to handle heavy materials and work in confined spaces if necessary
