Entry Level Computer Support Specialist



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Computer Support Specialist to join our growing team in Faro. As an Entry Level Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and assisting with troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software issues. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start their career in the IT field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems
- Perform routine maintenance on computer equipment
- Train users on basic computer functions and applications
- Assist with network setup and maintenance
- Document all support activities and resolutions in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date with technology trends and advancements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical individuals
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a help desk or technical support role
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, and antivirus software
