Painter - Entry Level

We are looking for a talented and motivated entry level Painter to join our growing team in Akron. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, selecting and mixing paint colors, and applying paint to various structures such as buildings, walls, and furniture.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes to ensure a smooth and even surface for painting
- Select appropriate paint colors and mix them to achieve desired shades
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers or sprayers according to instructions
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material before painting
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to protect from spills or splatters
- Clean up work area after completing painting tasks
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for the project
- Follow safety guidelines while working with paints and other materials

Requirements:
- No previous experience required, training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders or bending down
- Basic knowledge of color theory and ability to mix paints accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time job with 40 hours per week. The salary for this position is $1500 per month. This job does not include accommodation so candidates must have their own housing arrangements. Applicants must have a valid biometric passport. This is an urgent job opening so candidates who can start immediately will be given preference.
