Entry Level Painter
As an entry level painter, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and completion of painting projects. This includes mixing paint, preparing surfaces, and applying paint with brushes, rollers, or sprayers. You will work closely with experienced painters to learn proper techniques and safety procedures. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in painting and is looking for hands-on experience. No previous experience is required but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are necessary. The salary for this position is $1300 per month and the role is located in Akron, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by sanding, filling holes, and removing old paint
- Mix paints to achieve desired color and consistency
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Clean and maintain equipment after each use
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with experienced painters to learn new skills

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills on the job

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in painting or construction industry
- Knowledge of different paint types and their application techniques
- Basic understanding of color theory
