As a Typesetter at our company in Almada, Portugal, you will be responsible for creating and designing written material for various projects. Your main duties will include setting type and formatting text using specialized software, ensuring accuracy and consistency in layout and font choices. You will work closely with our team of designers and editors to produce high-quality printed materials.

To excel in this role, you must have excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of typography principles. You should also be proficient in using desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign and have experience working with different file formats.

Responsibilities:
- Set type and format text according to project requirements
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in layout, font choice, and spacing
- Collaborate with designers and editors to produce visually appealing materials
- Prepare files for printing or digital distribution
- Proofread content for errors or inconsistencies
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Excellent understanding of typography principles
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software (e.g. Adobe InDesign)
- Familiarity with different file formats (e.g. PDF, DOCX)
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1600 per month (without accommodation)
Work schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm)
Location: Almada, Portugal
