Fitter Technician


We are seeking a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various machinery and equipment. Your main goal will be to ensure that all machines and equipment are operating efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various machinery and equipment according to blueprints, manuals, or other specifications
- Test machines and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions with machines or equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed on machines and equipment
- Order necessary parts or supplies for repairs or maintenance
- Train new employees on the proper use of machinery and equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to read blueprints and manuals
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of safety procedures while handling heavy machinery
- Attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Norwegian is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Bergen, Norway. However, we welcome applicants from all nationalities who have the necessary work permits.
