Crane Operator


We are in need of a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Muscat. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites or in industrial settings. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and the ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of cranes such as mobile, tower, or overhead cranes
- Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure safety and functionality of equipment
- Use hand signals or radios to communicate with ground crew during lifting operations
- Lift, move, and position heavy materials according to specifications provided by site supervisors
- Ensure proper rigging techniques are used for safe lifting
- Monitor weather conditions and make adjustments as necessary to ensure safe operations
- Keep logbooks and maintenance records for equipment usage and repairs
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator (minimum of 3 years)
- Valid crane operator certification or license (preferably from OSHA)
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and equipment maintenance procedures

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position. This salary is subject to negotiation based on experience.

Location:
This position is located in Muscat. Candidates must be willing to work on construction sites within the city.
