Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for protecting the organization's sensitive information and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures. They will conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability tests to identify potential threats and develop strategies to mitigate them. The analyst will also monitor network activity for any suspicious or unauthorized behavior and respond to security incidents as needed. They must have a strong understanding of information security principles, technologies, and industry best practices. This position is based in Wiltz and offers a salary of $1800 per month. Candidates must be English speaking, willing to work part-time, and have their own accommodation and visa.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks
- Monitor network activity for suspicious or unauthorized behavior
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date on the latest information security trends, technologies, and best practices
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Participate in the development of disaster recovery plans
- Conduct training sessions for employees on information security awareness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Knowledge of information security principles, technologies, and best practices
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability tests
- Familiarity with intrusion detection systems (IDS) and other security tools
- Ability to analyze complex systems and networks
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- CISSP or other relevant certifications are preferred
