Entry-Level Information Security Analyst in Las Vegas, USA


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst in Las Vegas. As an analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in information security to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor the company's networks, systems, and applications for potential security breaches
- Conduct routine vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify any weaknesses
- Analyze security data and create reports to identify trends or potential risks
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to safeguard against cyber attacks
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices
- Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security tools
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Experience with incident response planning and management
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR or HIPAA

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Las Vegas, USA. However, we are open to remote work arrangements for exceptional candidates.
